Rayster meets the Kid Blogger Carl Ocab!

With the tropical storm 'Ferdie' currently residing in the Philippines, it doesn't stop me to attend John Calub's Web and Social Media Marketing! I may have colds, it still doesn't stop me from going to the event. Afterall I have the prize ticket from the 'Top Inspirer' contest of Sir John Calub just for this event.

The seminar is all about how to start making money online. The speakers were John Calub and other extraordinary people like Jay McLean, Tim Bennett, and Carl Ocab, my idol! I was so inspired by this kid because he started blogging at the age of 13! Now looking back in my own timeline, I also started blogging around that age, but I was not able to grasp to what I should do after I have shared my piece in the internet.

Rayster meets KidBlogger
I was waiting for Carl 's part in the seminar and here's some of his advice that I fail to realize and taught me a lesson.

1.) Find a topic to write and discuss

Usually, my idea of blogging way back when I started is to share my life's story. I think of it as my online journal. But hey, it's not bad to share a little experience once in a while. I know all of us has a 'story' to tell to the world, but whats more important to the universe is something informative. That's why creating a content from the topic you've chosen is the start.

2.) Start to monetize your blog

This is also one of the things I always ignore. Whenever I blog something my mind is always asking questions, 'what if  you'll make money out of that?' I also encountered 'Google Adsense' a lot and  I always ignore it a lot too! I even managed to read about it during my college days last 2010, but never ever that serious to take the step.

3.) Take action

"You see, in life, lots of people know what to do, but few people actually do what they know. Knowing is not enough! You must take action." - Anthony Robbin

(Aaaaaaa! Anthony Robbin's is one of the greatest motivational speakers of all time! It's almost like theres no word that can fully described this guy, he is the man.)

Taking action is one of the things I lack. I may have the talent and skills, but I never got the 'guts' to take a massive action. I basically know how to operate a computer from hardware stuffs to software programming and all, but knowing this stuffs with no actions is nothing. Its like a shell with no snail inside. Though, I learned this the hard way and it's not to late to start again.

So I guess that's about it. It has been days from my last update. I have to be serious on this stuffs like my life depends on it. Thanks for reading! :)
