My Deepest Sentiments

Siguro, now is the time to share my deepest thoughts to all of you guys.. I don't know pero hindi naman ako ganito eh at parang gusto ko lang ilabas dito sa net.. Noon, I keep saying to myself na I can be happy being alone..pero hindi ata...
Because of my attitude and personality, I don't have much friends (well except for my classmates na hindi mo maiiwasan) na pwede matawagan at times like this...

Recently, I've been reflecting about myself. Knowing myself etc.. If I can remembered, one of my tita's quote: "Raymond, parang lagi ka lang mag-isa ah, baka sa huli mag-isa ka nalang".. That quote is always echoing in my mind.. Kanina, everything went well, same habit like manood ng tv, laro ds, and check my pc every so often..

Wala din ksi yung sister ko dito sa bahay, nandun siya sa bahay ng tita ko at bukas pa siya uuwi. Pupunta din sana ung closest cousin ko na si RS dito kaso pumunta lng siya dito ksi may binigay siya samin na konting gift at umalis din agad.. What just happened cguro kanina is, na feel ko na ung being alone.. Yung sadness na talaga.. Syempre iba talaga yung kakilala mo talaga at nakaka-usap mo irl kasi pede mo masabi lahat..

Kaya ko din dito ni-open up sa net ksi di ko masabi kina mama at sis ko.. They don't even know my secrets or about my lovelife.. Speaking of lovelife, nagtext siya kanina sakin with her new number.. Actually, di ko naman siya GF pero siya naging first love ko.. Hopefully maghreply siya sakin.. I can't deny ngayon na medyo naluha talaga ako... Siguro natural lang ito paminsan sa isang tao? Nagkakaganito man ako minsan pero hindi talaga ganito ka grabe na nakaiyak pko lolz..

Wala naman ako hinanakit sa family ko.. cguro sa self ko lang cguroo.. Kung bakit ako ganito.. Matalino nga naman ako, may looks nman, pero in personality and attitude department kinulang ako.. Ginawa ko naman best ko eh, pero di pa un sapat? My weak spot nga gaya ng sabi ng tito ko galing manila. When he interviewed me about my school... Eh kung sa academic ok naman ako.. but in extra curricular bakit ako kinulang...

Ngayon halos nasabi ko na lahat.. I'll add more nalang next tme.. Tsaka di ako EMO ha.. Ganito lng ako cguro paminsan.. Thanks for reading guys.

OJT Journal - Day 9 (December 11, 2009)

At last it's Friday! The very last day of our OJT every week.

I drink a coffee before going out because I believe it will make me a productive person, even at the very last day of that week.

This time, I was early at work.

I arrived at 8:10am. Logging-in on the logbook and traded my I.D. for the Callbox's I.D.
I headed directly to the office place and started my work. With no hesitations of turning left and right, I was able to finish a task with just one shot.

It was lunch time and my tummy was grumbling (not because I'm hungry but I'm acidic >.>). Jessica and Jeniel arrived while talking. I told them that I need to buy a Kremil-S because of my tummy. So I went outside looking for an available store who's selling one. With bad luck, none of them were selling it. So I came back to the callbox.

We just continued our regular routine and ate our lunch together. Telling them that I drink a coffee this morning, they said that it may be the cause of all this commotion in my stomach
We also swear that we should finish our work with swift hands altogether.

Until the days break, we went home together, enjoying the weekends.

OJT Journal - Day 8 (December 10, 2009)

Thursday, another half-day OJT with a little company from my friends.

During our class in the morning, our entrep teacher announced that next week will be our prelim examinations. So we handed down our RF to her because as she said, it's her responsibility ( she is connected to the registrar's office and the registrar will assess our prelim down-payment). She will be giving our RF by Tuesday next week.

After that, we discussed everything on the hand-outs and by next week, we will have a long test.

Nothing new about our old routine at the callbox.

OJT Journal - Day 7 (December 9, 2009)

When I woke up around 7am, I noticed a gloomy and rainy environment. And since Monday, I'm not fully well. So I decided to text Ms. Medalin that I can't report in the morning.

While eating my breakfast around 9am, my mother scolded me that I should report even if I'm late. Saying that we got 400 hours to accomplish and there's no enough time!
Motivated by her words, I rushed to Callbox around 10am.

When I was about to head to the office, I saw Rowena going to the comfort room. I told her why I was late and I headed directly to the office place.

Nothing new. Almost all the same routine as we ended our day.

OJT Journal - Day 6 (December 8, 2009)

Around 12nn after our class, three of us walked directly to Callbox. I'm wearing our OJT Uniform this time. So most of the eyes are on me. Even at the office, people asked, "Ganyan Uniform niyo? Ang cute!" xD (Kulang nalang sabihin pati ako cute)

Anyway, it was a half-day OJT so nothing more interesting. Same old routine since last week.
What I just noticed this time is that Rowena just smiled. As far as we know, she is always grumpy. And to think it was me whom she smiled at. Maybe it's because I was lagging behind from all the works ( not because I'm slow but I got many things to work than Jessica and Jeniel!).

So around 5pm, we head directly to our eating place and have a shake to consume until we went home. xD

OJT Journal - Day 5 (December 7, 2009)

As I predicted, this week will not be as productive as last week.

Anyway, Monday came and it was very cold when I woke up around 6 in the morning.
I ate my breakfast and took a shower. At the time when I was about to go, nature called, so I rushed directly to the toilet.

I arrived at Callbox around 8:15am so I blame my stomach for it >.>.
I headed directly upstairs to the office place and greeted Rowena with a call.

I continued my work.

Around 11am, I felt very dizzy that I was about to fall from the chair. What I did was: I went to the bathroom, I looked at my face at the mirror and saw an unhealthy looking student.. So I've been thinking to eat my lunch at the Callbox and head directly home.

Jessica arrived and told me that we should eat already so that we can do our work earlier. Meanwhile, Jeniel,who was running late, arrived around 1:15pm.
We just smiled to him..

Around 3pm, I felt very exhausted that I was about to die!
So I made up my mind that I should go home and take a rest.

It was not a fruitful day but I guess I was able to accomplish 6 hours this day.

A long day~

Grabe, buti nalang kanina nahabol ko yung last day ng promissory letter xD.. nagpo-promis ako kasi nadelay yung epekto ng scholarship ko, so imbes magbabayad ako ng tuition ko mismo eh ung misc. lng nasasakop. So ayun by midterm pa ata mag take effect ang 100% scholar ko :)

OJT Journal - Day 4 (December 4, 2009)

Charaan!

The fourth day of our OJT starts and the last day of our work for that week.

It was Friday, and every morning of M-W-F, I'm always alone T.T.

Same tactics since day 1 I guess, but what I noticed after I opened my work through Rowena's folder is that, most of the companies that I had encoded were in a "yellow highlight!" Yeap, that's right! I brainstormed it a little because I can't still figured it out who touched my work! Any minute, I noticed Rowena was by my side saying "Ay alam mo, dami mali-mali niyo! Ako ang naglagay ng yellow highlight dyan ksi mali ang mga infos nilagay mo, dapat USA lang ilagay mo hindi pwede mga Canada, Germany at ibang countries sa Zip Code". At first, I was puzzled, because I thought, US Zip Codes consist of 5 numerical characters while Canada and the other countries consist of 5 or more characters and letters.

(Just to be clear, we were encoding a Retailer Company's Info including its website, telephone number, zip code, address etc. using MS Excel)

So if a company is not located or it does not have any branch in USA, we will put a yellow highlight on it's row.

After 1 hour, my head started to heat up! I did some "highlighting" to some companies that has no location in US States as Rowena stated but... she really think that all my research was not accurate! What a nerve! insulting my skills huh!
So what I did was, I made her research some of the companies that was "highlighted" as yellow.. and alas! she could not even find it either.

So just to evade my negative look, she said that I should continue my work and highlight all the companies that has no location in USA. With no other choice, I simply followed.

Around 10am while I was still working, Ma'am Emmy, one of the employee, told me that I should help some of my fellow OJT. She pointed that I should go beyond the door near the canteen. What we did was to twist some white-thin paper to make a long rope-like thread. (That time din kasi, gumagawa yung mga employee ng decors for Christmas Contest nila). And since I was there, I overheard a little conversation saying that "maybe" some of the OJT will be terminated because of such wrong doings. That rumor marked my mind.

Soon as we finished, we went back to our working place until it was lunch time. Jeniel and Jessica arrived at the right time while I was walking to the canteen. I told them everything that happened this morning. Jessica also told me that they met Rowena earlier and she said that both mine and Jeniel's work were full of errors. Both of us responded eagerly that it was just part of Ms. Robicar's instruction! We just followed what she did as an example >.>
Our steamy conversation still continues as well as our soup. It was nearing 1pm, so we hurriedly went back to the office place.

As I suspected!
Jeniels' work was also full of "yellow highlighted" rows.
I think he can handle it as Rowena was moving towards him. I can see his long face as Rowena talks but I just continued my work as soon as its getting darker.

We still ended up our day with a little smile on our face.
Being sad of what just suddenly happened...

Anyway, we spent our weekends with a little rest from our home and to start our OJT by Monday, the next week.

My OJT Journal - Day 3 (December 3, 2009)

Day 3 starts with a little bang.

After our classes ended, we walked straight to the Callbox.
Same routine as usual for the passed two days: logging-in on the LogBook, always eating our lunch together, and starting our work.

What made us so surprise was that Ms. Robicar, our Supervisor is bidding us goodbye. It happened while we were working, she's packing up her things and saying that she needs to go now. We all thought that it was just a simple goodbye. Our thoughts: "Maybe she needs to go somewhere else or maybe she needs some break". We didn't mind it for now.

In my case, while starting my daily routine, I noticed that the folder named "Robicar" is gone and a new folder named "Rowena" exists. So I just ask Jessica who's just by my side, about it. She said that the folder named "Rowena" is the new folder we must work starting today. With no single idea on what's happening, I just continued my work.

For some reason, I didn't even think that it's so obvious that Rowena, also an OJT Trainee, is our new Supervisor. Same old routine goes on and before the day breaks, it's also our turn to go home. No scrambled shake this time XD.

OJT Journal - Day 2 (December 2, 2009)

So, my little mis-adventure continues being alone! Yeap, you read it right xD

My classmates, Jeniel and Jessica were both working students. Their duty is only every afternoon which means every M-W-F Morning I'm always alone!

So to press on, I arrived around 8:05am and proceeded directly to the office place. After that, I just smiled again to Ms. Robicar giving her a cue that I will start my work. Time flies fast when you're facing a computer I guess, until it's lunch time and almost all of the employees and ojt's are starting to go out. Most of the people turn right to the canteen, but I turn left and head downstairs to the comfort room. Looking at the my watch it's almost 12:10! so I decided to go to the lobby area where the security opens the logbook for Jeniel and Jessica's arrival. Being reunited again, we just smiled for our 2nd day of work and we head directly to the canteen. While talking about the taste of the food, the people around us, they also ask me how was it being "alone?". I just nodded saying, "I just did what I needed to do and that's all! No need to worry, we can do this!". So, our conversation ended with high hopes that we can accomplish our task everyday, even if it's a little boring sometimes. Especially me! I'm trying my best to socialize with the other students even though I'm not used to it.

After we entered the office, our work's just the same. We continued what we have done the day before until we can finish it. In my case, I already finished around 3pm, so I told Ms. Robicar about it. Saying that she was so impress about how swift I am, she added more tasks for me. So, I was thinking that if I should continue doing this maybe there's a possibility for our Allowance. OW! I forgot to mention about it! During our orientation with Ms. Medalin the day before, she mentioned that our Allowance is 50/50 chance. Meaning, she'll reward us with our hard work if she can see it during our stay at the Callbox. Until it's starting to get dark, we ended our work with a little flavored-shake we bought from a little store near our school and gone our separate ways home.

The next day is the day of a Shocking Revelation... O_O to be continued..

Phew! To think that I promised to myself na tatapusin ko now ang OJT Journal ko from Day 2 onwards kaso bigla sumama pakiramdam ko kanina. Mahapdi mata ko and parang inaantok na masakit ang ulo.

So I guess let's just call this day a ceasefire xD..

My OJT Journal - Day 1 (December 1, 2009)

 As life goes on, our experience grow so as ourselves. Back then, I can vividly remember when I was a little boy who had so much freedom with life. I can do things without so much provision because they know how a good boy I can be.

Given that today, I am currently at the stage of graduating. Meaning after my school days are over, work will take over. So as of now, let's just talk about my first day in my OJT.

It was December 1, 2009 that my journey started with the first company I had in mind during our fill-up form--update resume contest along with my classmates a weeks ago. December 1 is Tuesday so we have a class. Tuesday-Thursday is our class in Entrepreneur, 10:30-12:00 AM and Saturday 8:30-10:30AM English Training, the rest is our Free Time = OJT Work. We must accomplished 400 hours this time -_- (Whatta pain). Friday, a week before the company contacted my classmates that they need us to be interviewed and to be oriented by next week Tuesday @ exactly 8:00AM.

Tuesday, 8:00AM is the exact time that we must meet, so I woke up early and proceeded to the lobby of the company named "Callbox". It is an Australian Call Center Company located near our school that's why we took our chance to throw ourselves there.

So after our class @ 12:00AM, I forced my classmate to go back to Callbox for our Free Lunch xD. At first, they were so shy that even myself was kinda affected. Mixed comments and reactions began to fill the lobby of our school as we went outside and walked to Callbox. As we reached our destination, they forced me this time to lead: "pwede po kami dito maglunch". Grinning all over the place, even to the Security Guard who familiarized our face earlier XD. As I sighted Ms. Robicar I approached her, she said that it is lunch time so let's eat! After such desperation, we were in the dining table and starting to chew. The food is great as well the surroundings. Around 1pm, we went to the office place to start our work.

As soon as the clock tick, Ms. Robicar taught us things that we must do for the day. As usual, all of us were familiar with Microsoft Excel. All we have to do is input all the details of a Retailer Company including its website, address, telephone numbers, email address etc. Also, teaching us some shortcuts for finding some hard-to-find-terms using Google. We also enjoyed our time because of our comfortable spinning chair and a radiationless lcd monitor XD. Around 4pm, she noted that our OJT will always end at 5pm. At 5pm, we barely finish our work because it's too much for us to handle in one day, so Ms. Robicar said:"There's always tomorrow".

We smiled, thanking her for the support as we approach the Security Guard for our I.D. We printed our name on the LogBook and we called it a day.

The very next day is the Day of being alone >.>. (to be continued)
